So, you've completed your first Care Request, amazing work!

Now it's time to view your Care Matches so you can start a Care Conversation and get care for your loved one.

What are Care Matches?

You’ll receive personalised Care Matches for your loved one based on the information your gave in the Care Request.

These Care Matches are trusted providers who can meet their care needs.

If you haven't completed a Care Request yet, here's our guide to Completing a Care Request to help you every step of the way.

View your Care Matches

Click on the Care Matches tab on the left hand menu on your screen to bring up a list of suitable providers which match your requirements.

Alongside the provider name, you’ll see four columns labelled Favourite, Care Match, Location and CQC Rating.

To go to the full Provider Profile, click on their name.

Let’s look at what each column means when it comes to understanding your Care Matches.

You can use the Favourite action to save providers to your Favourites list, which can be accessed from the tab underneath Care Matches in the left hand menu on your screen.

You can do this by clicking once on the outline of the heart. The heart will change to a full pink heart, meaning that the provider is on your Favourites list.

When you save a provider to your Favourites, you can access their profile easily as well as find shortcuts to starting or continuing a Care Conversation with them

For more information about adding and removing providers to your Favourites, read our guide on Care Favourites

Care Match

The Care Match column shows a tick icon that is either green or yellow.

A green tick indicates a full Care Match, meaning that the provider offers everything you have requested in your Care Request.

While a yellow tick means that the provider may not offer every element of care that you have requested.

The location column shows a tick if a provider is a good location match for you, meaning they operate in your geographic area.

CQC Rating

The CQC rating column refers to the provider's CQC rating.

This is a formal assessment from the CQC (Care Quality Commission) who regulate all care providers in England.

Hover the mouse over the icon and it will show you what their rating is.

The Star indicates that the provider is rated by the CQC as ‘Outstanding’ which is the top score.
